"I saw an article on Thrillist for a new Persian bar and restaurant & thought it was the perfect choice for my Birthday dinner. They did not disappoint - all 4 of us were delighted with the flavors and portions of our authentic Iranian food. Hot fresh bread, perfectly seasoned tender kabobs (which are easy to overcook) and chargrilled veggies over a bed of fluffysaffron basmati - mmmmm."- Azadeh S., Yelp
"Enter Colbeh Persian Kitchen — a new Decatur restaurant that makes a clean break with the cast-in-stone orthodoxy of Persian restaurant menus. Everything from the dips to the stews come in tasting portions, including half skewers. The bar pours a fine selection of craft beers (both tap and bottle) as well as house cocktails perfumed with the likes of saffron and cardamom. There's even a smart wine list."- John Kessler is the chief dining critic for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
"Focus on Colbeh Persian Kitchen and Bar, an outwardly inconspicuous date spot that's bursting with kebabs, lamb shank and sexy little two-tops everywhere, now soft-open in Decatur Square."- URBANDADDY
"A friend and I ate here last night, and we thought the food and service were both fabulous. Their dolemeh (stuffed grape leaves) were the best I've ever had! The only trouble we had was in deciding what to order, because EVERYTHING sounded so delicious. I definitely recommend eating at Colbeh, and I can't wait to go back!"- Sarah A., Facebook
"There are plenty of brown liquored signature cocktails to sample at the long mahogany bar and a back lounge outfitted with ship windows. Check it out!"- Amanda Kludt, Eater Atlanta
"Wow. I stopped in Colbeh after seeing how busy my usual spots were, and I couldn't be happier that I did! I have never had Persian food before, so I didn't know what to expect, and I'm glad I gave it a try. I ordered the stew and was told that they had been preparing it for 24 hours. I couldn't believe the flavors!!! I ordered a few of the kabobs which I am told are marinated then charbroiled. I have never tasted chicken like that in my life, truely some of the best meats I have ever had. After a fine glass of wine, the owner stopped by to ask how everything was. My server and the owner were both incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, and the food was excellent. All of the menu items have discriptions, so I didn't feel intimidated ordering the food. There is nothing like this in Decatur square."- Kelvin Malone, Urban Spoon
"I was literally stuffing my face the entire time! Get the Zereshk Polo and you won't be disappointed with the entire meal. It might just be rice, but this combination of saffron, barberries, and pistachios literally blew my mind. I would've just been happy to eat an entire plate of it for dinner. The chicken kabob was more moist and flavorful than I ever knew was possible. Other Middle Eastern standards like Dolemeh (grape leaves), hummus, Mirza Ghasemi (roasted eggplant), and Koo Koo Sabzi (patties of parsley, dill, coriander, and eggs) were pretty damn good. I definitely plan on returning!"- Found Atlanta
